He was born in 1932 in the village of Tikharevo , situated in theYaroslavl Region. In 1957 he graduated from Yaroslavl School Of Art. Then,in 1964, he graduated from The Orlov Pedagogical Institute, having studied in the Graphic Arts Department.
For 11 years taught art at a secondary school in the city of Orlov, whilst simultaneously working in the Pedagogical University’s art department.
After his return to Yaroslavl in 1969, he worked as a graphic designer in Yaroslavl’s Art Fund.
He is a permanent contributor to regional and national exhibitions.
1968 – Regional exhibition in Tula.
1974 – Regional exhibition “Big Volga”, Gorkiy.
1984 – All-union exhibition “Blue Country Roads”, Leningrad.
1998 – National exhibition “Monuments Of The Motherland”, Yaroslavl.
Regional exhibitions since 1958.
In 2003 he became a member of “The Union of Russian Artists”.
2001 – Regional exhibition “Province-Capital”, Yaroslavl.
February 2002 – Personal exhibition of B.K. Gogin (70 years). Yaroslavl, Central exhibit-hall of Yaroslavl Union of Artists.
His works are displayed in many private collections throughout Russia and abroad.
