He is a member of “The Union of Russian Artists”. He is a Russian painter, and was born in Central Russia, in the oldest Kurba village, Yaroslavl region.
Kazakov Yuriy was born in 1952. In 1975 he graduated from Kostroma State Pedagogical Institute named after A.N.Nekrasov, (faculty of graphics art) under the guidance of professor M.S.Kolesov.
He is a regular participant in both international and inter-regional open air exhibitions. A lot of his works are kept in Russian museums and in private collections throughout Russia and abroad. Kazakov was awarded with diplomas from “The Union of Russian Artists” in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2014. In 2008 he was awarded with a silver badge for his participation in the “Big Volga” exhibition in Cheboksary, Samara.
